I've been streaming using OBS Studio for months and I've been quite happy.

This week I tried to stream as usual and I noticed my cameras were lagging/freezing before I'd even started the stream. Just watching the preview in OBS.

I restarted the PC just to check. Same issue.
So I uninstalled both cameras and reinstalled them. Launched OBS same issue.
I have updated from OBS 16.something to OBS 18.0.0
There have been no changes to my OS or updates to any other software.
Both cameras started out on the same USB controller in USB 3.0 ports, I have tried various di

I have scoured the internet for similar problems and tried their various simple solutions with no joy. While working on the problem the issue has changed slightly....

When I launch OBS the cameras both work fine, but after several minutes (7-10ish) my main camera starts to lag severely. If I restart OBS the main camera is fine again for a few minutes.

I have 2 cameras, a cheap 1080p Tecknet camera, and a Logitech c920. I use the Tecknet camera as a face cam, and the Logitech as my main camera. (for a creative stream).

Edit: I noticed after the camera starts to lag, when I close OBS it actually causes the Logitech c920 to act as though disconnected, (perhaps a driver crash?) I have to unplug and plug the camera back in to get it to show up/work in OBS again.

Bump - Anyone encountered anything like this before? I really am at a loss as to what to try next. As I mentioned, its not while streaming, its just lagging out/freezing within a few minutes of OBS being open.
