Bug Report 2.1.0 advance relay buffer time not correct

Hi,

I have the replay buffer set to 240 seconds, but whenever I save the buffer, it only saves the past 1-2 mins.

I have just tested it by leaving the replay buffer for about 6 minutes and then pressing save, but the file was only 1min 59

It worked fine on previous update.

I am having the same issue. I set my buffer to 10 mins and I am only getting like 1min of replay footage and I have 32gb of RAM.

I've tried different encoders, still happens.

I've gone back to simple output for now, which works fine.

I have the same issue except mine only saves 10 - 19 seconds when I have it set to 2 minutes, using nvenc, 255000kbps. I have 128gb or ram so memory is not a issue.

New to OBS, but what is simple output? And does that allow you the corrected replay buffer time?

This is simple output It just gives you some control over your stream/ recording settings. and yes you can use replay buffer in simple mode :), it is located in the section that says "Recording". Welcome to OBS :)
