1920x1080 Rectangle Crop Guide Always On Top While Recording?

Hi there! I've done some searching and can't find if there's a way to always have a 1920x1080 sized rectangle outline always on my screen while I'm recording to act as a guide so I can accurately position the content I want to record within this box. My monitor is 1440p but I only want to record at 1080p so having a guide box like this always on top of the software and windows I'm recording would be very useful. Is this possible? Thanks!

The preferred way would be to just look in OBS Studio to see what's inside the visible region or not.

There is no way OBS provides such a guide box outside its own program, on top of anything else. You would need a 3rd party solution for that, but please keep in mind that it should precisely match the cut out in OBS.

In this example the visible region is al little bit off centre (the part sticking out at the left is larger than at the right). Such movements must be taken into account by that tool.

Thanks for your advice and tips, koala and WBE! Yes, just looking at OBS would be simplest but I only have one monitor so it's a little tricky to get a good look at exactly what I'm recording. I will have to do some experimenting to see what works best. Thanks!
