Question / Help 144hz Stuttering when Streaming

I just got myself a nice new 144hz monitor and I record my CSGO games incase of issues such as flamers screaming hacks.

My issue is that when I record on the game or stream it obviously sets itself to a 60hz FPS and causes major microstutters and it interferes with my game.

Is there anyway to fix this? I am using:

Intel Core i7 - 4790k
R9 390x 8GB
1280x720@60fps stream (1080p monitor)

I use AMD VCE to record and stream as I am playing CSGO and that GPU is extreme overkill.
Is there any way to stop the microsuttering?

I think OBS caps out at 120fps, so you might want to set OBS to record at 72fps (half framerate), 48fps (one third) or 36fps (one quarter). In any case, for VCE support, check out the VCE thread: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-branch-with-amd-vce-support.13996
