Question / Help 144FPS video settings

As simple as it sounds. I run a 144 FPS monitor, and when I use OBS, I max it out at 120, but I notice there is a difference when I start broadcasting, my FPS with Gsync will drop to 120. I would just like the ability to go above the 120 FPS cap.

Are you trying to encode at 144fps? I use a 120Hz monitor but I save to disk at 60fps and stream it at 40fps. May I advise encoding / streaming at 72fps (half) or 48fps (third)?

I agree that OBS should be technically able to do 144Hz (as an it would be nice feature), but there seems to me to be no practical reason for it (unless you plan to do a lot of slo mo in a video project I suppose).

If you are encoding at 120fps or less with a 144Hz input, and it slows your monitor down at 120Hz, then I think there's a problem with OBS. Post a log file.
