Question / Help 1440p monitor to 1080p stream

I am using a 2560 x 1440 monitor, and would like to stream in 1920 x 1080. Currently I can only downscale to 960p or 720p. Is it possible to do this, and if so, how?

You can just manually input 1080p resolution in Settings>Video. This probably won't look as good though, without a downscaling filter you'll notice a lot more aliasing and such.

The only place I can enter my own information in Settings->Video is the base resolution. When I tried changing that to 1080p, it doesn't downscale the whole screen. It instead just shows an area of the screen that is 1920 x 1080.

Right click the source, go to Position/Size and "Fit to Screen"

Or if you are using Game Capture, open the Came Capture properties and check "Stretch to fit", which will resize the input to fit the screen.

Unless I missed something, you have the same option for Game Capture in recent versions.
