I'm trying to record a series of lectures and tutorials with powerpoint. The idea is the powerpoint is full screen with a small picture in picture talking head on the lower right.
* Source 1 is my display
* Source 2 is a elgato camlink 4k hooked up to a Sony a6400 recording in 4k.
My setup is a 2020 MBP 13". I've been able to configure everything to record.
However, when I record using OBS, the video captured is choppy with skips. I don't see this in live previews.
Has anyone successfully done this?
Also, my fan is going very fast, so it's definitely loading up the MBP. Is this a problem because the 13" doesn't have an external GPU?
If the MBP isn't powerful enough, any recommendations for pre-built PC's I could use to do this (pre-built because I'd rather spend money than spending time building).
