Question / Help 100% stream lag and jittery feel.

My quest to start streaming has taken me far and wide, I've tried Xsplit, FFsplit, dxtory(made my pc crash) eventually leading me to OBS (by far the best look and feel very clean +1).

However, I have one significant issue when streaming is that when I do so my Game (League) while running at +100fps feels as if it's running at 15 fps.

I've tried a plethora of changed options switched between 32-bit and 64-bit tried different presets, lowered/raised quality etc...
It's become so bad I'm about to give up on streaming altogether.

So in a final attempt I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

What I noticed within the logs is the frame lag, which is a nice full 100%. Theoretically I should be able to stream 1080p but as it stands now I can't even stream 480 at 15fps.

Hey there!

First of all, having enabled and using Monitor Capture will cause you to only have 15 FPS. Use gamecapture instead.
That should fix the issue. You can use MonitorCapture with Aero disabled, but Gamecapture is by far the fastest method of capturing.

To add to this, you can use Monitor Capture for the menus/champion select screen. In a separate scene you can use Game Capture for when you are actually in game and top performance matters the most. There is a plugin in the Plugins section of the forum that will automatically switch scenes for you so you never have to worry about it again!

Also, your processor is definitely good enough to handle at least 720p30fps on veryfast with that bitrate. Should have a pretty noticeable quality increase, your only issue here was your chosen settings.
