edit scene, select the game capture then press ctrl-F. your new size if your base resolution causes the scene to need to be adjusted.i tried to fix the skipped fps problem i had with my recording and it seems to work fine but theres 1 problem, obs recording half of the screen, and not all of it.
never mind i fixed that. but i have another problem, the video is almost always blurry.edit scene, select the game capture then press ctrl-F. your new size if your base resolution causes the scene to need to be adjusted.
It would be best just to not use fast preset and instead use veryfast since your CPU is not an i7. That was the source of your skipped frames not the base resolution.
This is because your source is 720 instead of 1080 and your base resolution in OBS is 720 instead of 1080. at that time you can downscale to 720 with bicubic filter just dont use fast preset. use veryfast preset.never mind i fixed that. but i have another problem, the video is almost always blurry.
what do you mean? the recording resolution on obs is 1080p, same in the game. its ending up looking like this:This is because your source is 720 instead of 1080 and your base resolution in OBS is 720 instead of 1080. at that time you can downscale to 720 with bicubic filter just dont use fast preset. use veryfast preset.
18:37:32: Base resolution: 1280x720what do you mean? the recording resolution on obs is 1080p, same in the game. its ending up looking like this:

18:37:32: Output resolution: 1280x720

its still looks like crapThat is even worse. you forgot to downscale to 720p with bicubic filtering.
set game resolution to {1920, 1200} then remove all MSAA and set most in-game settings to medium or lower.
Note that with a 16x10 aspect ratio monitor expect cropping on twitch.tv and other services. This is because those sites recommend 16:9 aspect ratio. This is, of course, after you fix your scene.
Are you recording for upload to youtube or streaming?its still looks like crap
