0 kbps while the stream health icon is on green??

this happend today and yesterday for me at a random moment without any frame drops according to the stats on my obs while i was streaming, i noticed that my stream came to an end, when i came to check the reason i couldnt understand it.
also i had to force close obs application in order to stream once again.

what is causing this?

edit: since im here might as well ask this other inquiry that i have, i noticed that sometimes when im trying to load stream avatars on obs, its not showing up at all, so i gotta close obs reopen, and repeat until it works or do the same with stream avatars program, any reason behind this? im sure this only happens with "game capture" function, but sadly its the only way to use stream avatars at all.

I've been having this issue for a while. Mixer were trying to help me and we're suggesting it was something I had connected to my stream through a browser source or something similar. I've disconnected everything I can think of but it still happens. It actually causes my internet to disconnect on all devices and I have to wait to reconnect. What I have found is that if I login to a different twitch account, just a random new one, I do not get this error. Weeks of trying to figure it out and this is as far as i've got.
Same issue though, no dropped frames, stream is perfect for the moments its live and then the error happens and everything goes down.

Honestly it's making me insane, even starting to think my actual stream account is being targeted and i'm kicked offline as everything I test doesn't add up to a usual solution and it makes no sense that by simply logging into another twitch account I can stream with no problems.

Can you post your log, I want to check something.

I just noticed in the OP log their keyframe interval was set to 120 - I might be mistaken but that's 120 seconds in between key frames
and twitch has this on their site:

Twitch Help Portal

In the case keyframe intervals (GOP size) is set higher than 10 seconds, source will be disabled to guarantee playback compatibility across devices.

This could be why your stream gets killed because your keyframe is being sent to infrequently. I would go with 2 and see how that turns out.

Hi,
I'm not at my pc now but I already know that I set it at 2. It automatically was at 3 but I drop it to 2.

Ok something weird has happened with this.

After more testing today, my internet disconnected with this error 3 times around the 10 minutes mark.

I gave my stream key to someone somewhere else in the country who has zero issues. Not long into them streaming on my account and MY internet disconnects just like before when i streamed, while they are able to stay live on my channel.

Does this mean someone is watching my channel go live and then attacking my IP and cutting me off as this makes no sense at all.

Ive been having a similar issue with my streaming as well. I have had a friend help me this morning to look at all of my settings in OBS and everything seems where it needs to be. I have done server tests to see which one would best suite me (I live in ATL and have 100 quality to the server and a 16 ms ping, but I believe that server would be overly busy. I have also tested Ashburn, Chicago, and Miami and all of those have 100 quality and my ping to Ashburn, VA was like 24 ms so I decided to go with that server).

I played CoD Warzone on Twitch and stream went offline in like 3-5 min. Then I tried it again with R6 Siege and the stream lasted just under 15 min before going offline.

The only applications I have running during the stream are Spotify, Discord, Chrome, and MixItUp app to read chat. When streaming- my CPU doesn't go above 15% usage.

I finally looked at my log and I noticed that there is a reoccuring error with a program that I use. Is that what is causing my stream to drop bitrate and shutdown? or is there something else that I am missing?

I struggled with this for months. FD_CLOSE.
I was being knocked offline everytime I streamed. Only way to stop it is to get a new IP. I unplugged my modem for just over 24 hours and got a new dynamic IP. Make sure if you are using a 2nd router to alter the MAC address to pull the new IP through to it.
For me, I now avoid xbox parties, randoms and play and stream by invite only. Clear out randoms from friends lists.
You can Google how to knock someone offline playing call of duty and you'll see how easy it is to be done. You'll be told "why would someone ddos you?" Or that you gave your IP out. This is not the case. I got my new IP and streamed for 8 hours straight with high obs settings.

registered to try and help u guys with what worked for me. my problems consisted of my stream randomly dropping to 0kbps every 1-5 minutes. what worked for me was enabling TCP 1935 port, removing adblocker software, and disabling windows defender firewall on my networks. this worked for me instantly, hope it works out for you guys too because this was a big pain.
