Ever since upgrading my computer and downloading, OBS 30.0.2 my KBPS consistently drops to 0 and losing a lot of frames. I have an Aurora R 16 AlienWare desktop with a Nvidia 4060. My last computer I don’t have any issues with what so ever and it’s a cheap iBuyPower with a 1060. Can someone please help me im about to just return this computer if I can’t get streams to run smooth. Funny cause OBS 27.0 runs fine, log below

What are you doing for real-time hardware resource monitoring? I see a number of potentially significant CPU impacting audio related filters listed (by themselves should be no problem, but with Dell's native OS audio drivers?)

Do you have IPv6 enabled, and are you using it? presuming you aren't using IPv6, probably best to disable at OS layer... you have different network drivers at this point

were you using Norton 360 on older computer, with exact same settings?

Not sure if what is real time hardware, idk about audio filters. What’s ipv6? And yes this is the same thing I ran on my older PC. Tested it earlier and time fine with the 30.0.2

More basic - is new computer running fine, when you don't start OBS Studio? if yes, then probably no problem with new computer.
You could return the new computer, but the chance is decent you'll make the same or similar configuration setup on a new/replacement computer and have a similar if not exact same issue

Alienware (Dell) has been known to use a 'Killer' network driver on some systems, which is known to NOT work all that well, and cause network problems (search this forum for examples, troubleshooting, and recommended solutions).. Is this your issue? i have no idea.
I'm guessing old computer was Win10, and new computer is Win11? or are you running Win10 on new 13th gen Intel CPU? Assuming new Win11 OS, and standard bloatware vendors install, there could easily be new background processes running causing an issue. These are easy to find/disable, if you know what you are doing.

Your comments indicate a non-sophisticated understanding of Windows Operating System. And troubleshooting is going to require understanding of the technology at both Operating System (OS) and application (OBS Studio, in this case).
My recommendation - find someone local who is knowledgeable about Windows OS and can show you some basic troubleshooting... and probably some Operating System config changes (I never run an OS with default settings... they suck). That person would also be able to see if you are overloading your new computer (CPU, GPU, RAM, Disk I/O, etc), check for unnecessary/inappropriate background apps/processes, OS settings, etc

Hey, I have been having this same issue. I have tried various things for the past couple of weeks of googling this issue. I even went as far as to reformat my OS drive to start off fresh and still the issue persists. I don't believe it has to do with my router or ethernet cable as nothing has changed on that front and I don't see any troublesome logs on that end either. Though on the safe side I did factory reset and install latest update on the router as well as setting Windows Firewall Inbound/Outbound rule to allow OBS through. Below I attached one of the log files from my latest stream though since that time I went ahead and deleted my profiles as well as basically "tidy" up all my sources and deleted some scenes. I have yet to stream since doing all of that as I haven't had the time but when I do, I can try and remember to post that log if the issue persists.

Some additions: I have tried Network Optimization in advanced as well as dynamic bitrate neither worked and I have since disabled those options. A peculiar thing that I also noticed since this issue arose a couple months ago is that the bitrate won't just hard drop to 0 but I will look over and see the icon goes red and the bitrate will shoot up way past my set limit and say 10000+ then just drop to 0-100mbps.

Download Speed: 360
Upload Speed: 11.77
Bitrate I'm using: 7000 was the main but since played around 6500 to 6800.

GPU: MSI Gaming X Trio 3070
CPU: i7 13700k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32gb 3200mhz
OS: Windows 11 23H2 Build: 22631.3007

(PS: I know log mentions dropped frames due to network however other logs when I had the issue didn't mention that however they appear to have been deleted)
