Those settings will definitely not work on a GT 740M, i doubt it even supports NVENC at all.
Use quicksync (QSV)

Funny. On 0.15.4 all worked perfectly. Had no problems at all. But now I upgraded and I crash.

That's impossible with the settings you have currently, you either need to switch to Quicksync or x264.
