Question / Help “Update Aborted”

So I tried to install the latest version of OBS (I forgot which version), and it says “waiting for obs to close” for about 10-15 minutes then it just says update aborted without me touching anything. Any help?

TL;dr, obs updates randomly saying update aborted

For some reason the old obs process isn't shutting down. Try closing it manually from task manager (obs32.exe or obs64.exe).
