screen black

hey I have a big problem i just loaded a new overlay for obs and it show nothing. I go to feature for a screnn overlay( lets say it is „Stream Starting Oberlay“) and if i select the path, and select the animate overlay, it just shows nothing. And I can see a black screen. WHYYYY??!
