To use the control interface as a panel, follow these steps:- Install a local server like WAMP Server (tested with this one).
- Place the files controls.html and player.html in the server's folder.
- Open your browser and access:
- localhost/controls.html
- localhost/player.html
- Copy the address of controls.html.
- Add a custom panel in OBS and paste the link localhost/controls.html.
- In the same scene, add a browser source for player.html.
- You can now interact with the buttons to control playback.
2. Browser Only
If you prefer to use OBS browsers directly, follow this method:- Open the files controls.html and player.html directly in OBS browsers.
- Add a browser source for controls.html and another for player.html in the same scene.
- Hide the control source or drag it off-screen.
- Important: Do not disable the "eye" icon for the control source, as it will stop the interaction from working.
- You can now control playback using the control interface!
