I've been working on an OBS plugin that I think a lot of IRL streamers here will find useful: Easy IRL Stream, part of the stools.cc toolset. Turn your OBS into a full-featured ingest server. No Beacn, no IRLToolkit, no monthly subscription.

The problem it solves​

IRL streaming currently means either paying for an external hosting service or dealing with fragile DIY setups. Your phone streams to some server in the cloud, which re-streams to OBS. Every hop adds latency, cost and a potential point of failure. Easy IRL Stream cuts out the middleman entirely. Your phone streams directly to your PC.

• RTMP & SRT Ingest receive streams from Moblin, Larix Broadcaster, IRL Pro and others directly in OBS as a source
• SRTLA Link Bonding bond multiple connections (WiFi + mobile data) simultaneously for a more stable signal on the go
• Automatic Scene Switching OBS reacts automatically when your stream drops or bitrate tanks
• Quality Monitoring real-time connection monitoring with configurable thresholds
• Overlay Control trigger overlays based on stream state
• Webhook Automation hook into your existing setup
• DuckDNS Integration fixed address for streaming on the go without a static IP
• Dashboard Sync configure everything via stools.cc, settings sync automatically to the plugin

How it works​

1. Install the plugin
2. Sign in with your Twitch account at stools.cc
3. Configure your ingest settings in the dashboard
4. Point your phone app (Moblin, Larix, IRL Pro etc.) to your PC's address
5. Done. Your phone is streaming directly into OBS
