Too Boring Didn't Watch: Bufferbloat is a real network phenomenon, and it does have real consequences that become apparent when you are trying to get the most out of your internet. (The less bandwidth that you have, the more likely it is that you will see these effects.) There is an ongoing project to get software included into the firmware of home routers that will greatly reduce bufferbloat. This new code appears to be quite effective.
