Description
After recent OBS Studio updates, audio monitoring no longer automatically follows the Mute button for some audio sources. This script restores the previous behavior.
Features:
- Automatically detects all audio sources in OBS.
- Lets you choose which sources should be synchronized using checkboxes.
- When a selected source is muted, its audio monitoring is automatically disabled.
- When the source is unmuted, the previous monitoring mode is restored.
- Preserves the original monitoring mode ("Monitor Only" or "Monitor and Output").
- Works with Microphones, Browser Sources, Media Sources, Desktop Audio, Video Capture Devices, and any other source that outputs audio.
- Does not modify volume, filters, audio tracks, or any other source settings.
- Lightweight and fast polling with minimal CPU usage.
This script is especially useful for streamers, broadcasters, and live event productions that rely on audio monitoring and expect monitoring to follow the mute state automatically.
