I don't really know foobar2000 that well. Using other view modes affects how the titlebar appears?

The interface doesn't really matter as long as you can get the titlebar to represent the right format needed.

That should be all you need to do. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work. I haven't tried getting it to work that way yet but when I do I would just create a shortcut to it in the startup folder.

Hi i tried the new version on different computers but i cant get it to work till now im using the old version v2.6.0 works fine for me

v3.7.0 wont start heres the error (in german)

Unfortunately, that error message tells me nothing. Try renaming "Strings.en-US.resources" to just "Strings.resources" and let me know if it works then.

So I keep getting this error message (See Spoiler) when I right click on the Snip tray icon to change program to use iTunes as its output source. I'm also finding that it isn't outputting anything to the .txt file on the odd occasion when it doesn't throw the error at me...

Anything I can do to fix it up?

EDIT: Additional info, I tried downloading the version 2.6 and it seems to correctly retrieve the album artwork from Spotify without crashing, so I guess it's something related to the new version perhaps?

It gets created when you start Snip. You may have to play a track first.

The same directory as Snip.exe. It will be called Snip.txt.

I installed Snip tonight and i installed it correctly chose spotify and added the text to my stream, but even though i am playing a song with spotify it still displays as "no track playing" please help!, i have version 4.0 and when i restart all the applications switch songs it still says "no track playing"

Just downloaded Snip to use with Winamp, the different lengths of the songs (Like 20 Characters long vs 10 Characters) re-size the text box or the text will just get cut off.

I'm using 64x Windows 7, but am using 32x OBS so I can use a CLR Browser plugin.

I was also curious if I could remove the number of the track? So it doesn't show like "27. Insert Here" if it's the 27th song in my playlist.

I cannot replicate this. It's detecting Spotify as running since it at least says no track is playing. Which OS/languages do you run? Snip simply finds the process, hooks the Spotify window, and reads the titlebar.

Everything here has nothing to do with Snip. You just need to tweak the plugin settings in OBS. As for the text in Winamp just edit the titlebar however you want in the Winamp settings.

Also this is the "Advanced Title Formatting" I use in Winamp.

EDIT: Fixed the top setting, still not sure on the title formatting. I un-checked the "Show playlist item numbers in Playlist editor" and did everything else you said in the readme but the number's still there.

EDIT 2: Fixed it by disabling "Show the playlist number in the Windows taskbar" under General Preferences.
