YouTube video saved as html

I recently installed OBS on Linux Mint 20 , it saves a YouTube video as an html file and is unviewable. How can I correct this? I don’t have that problem with a Windows 10 install.

Could you share a screenshot of your sources when you're trying to record anything on that certain source?

All I could screen shot is the file directory showing an html file, perhaps a screen shot of the YouTube video page.
