Hi all

I started using OBS a few months ago. Great software! I mainly stream live to YouTube but I cannot seem to get a consistent stream without issues. Here's my mac mini specs: (I know I need to upgrade it, hoping for an imac soon)

2.6 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris 1536 MB
MacOS High Sierra 10.13.3 (17D47)

I run 2 Logitech C920 webcams...having no issues with those for the most part.
Audio is a Blue Yeti usb mic as well as a focusrite scarlett 18i6 interface. I can get all this working.

I have scenes set up and am able to switch seamlessly. The issues seem to be the encoding. I've tried just about everything to get it right. Sometimes it's good, others it's terrible. The main issue is youtube says video output is too low. OBS will say encoding overload, etc...

My upload speed is a pretty steady 20-30 mbpas...I'm hardwired into the mac...not wireless/wifi.

Thanks in advance!

Your GPU is overloaded. You need to reduce frame size or frame rate.

16:36:49.540: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 911 (30.0%)

Also if you turn on "Stats" and "Status Bar" from the View menu, it will give you more detailed information on how the stream is running, and warn you if frames are being dropped.

I'll look into that. I do see the dropped frames reading but it's always at 0. When you say reduce frame size, what do you mean? Frame rate is at 30 but I did drop it to 24 today. Hopefully that helps a little. I plan on getting an i7 Quad core imac at some point.
