I'm using OBS to stream our church services from an HDMI camera (via an Avermedia LGX). OBS is set up to 1080p30fps 6000kbps. If I use the stream key from youtube "stream now" page - my channel goes live OK. But if I look at "Stream Health" on youtube - it says I am sending data too fast. If I click on "Full Analytics" - is says my steram is GOOD 720p stream.
But I'm sending at 1080?
If I changeover and create a scheduled event, I can set the ingestion settings, which I set to 3000kps-6000kps (1080p). When I start my stream on the scheduled event - the live control panel correctly states I have a GOOD 1080p stream (exactly the same OBS settings - apart from the different stream key)
I'm confused why the "stream now" is only 720p (and complaining about speed too high) when I am sending 1080p? Where do I change the ingestion settings for the "stream now"? This page seems to suggest "Choose your own ingestion bitrate and resolution, based on your network conditions. Up to 1440p @60fps. " but I can't find where to set that for the "stream now". Any help appreciated.
