Youtube reconnect on existing broadcast

How do I setup an existing broadcast to reconnect? I see my stream isnt live, then I check obs and it still says broadcasting... I cannot seem to get it to notice the stream is gone and reconnect?

I am using OBS 27.1.3 64 bit with RTMP to youtube on windows 10 home 21h2

OSB default settings, I believe, are to attempt to reconnect (after 5 seconds, if I recall correctly)
If OBS is streaming, and you have an OBS streaming status green light, that means OBS is talking to your ingest server (YouTube in your case) just fine.
So, either your settings are off, something has corrupted the stream from YT's perspective, or YT is having a problem.
I don't stream to YT, so can't comment beyond the general. But my experience with FB livestreaming for last 20 months, OBS Stream status has always directly correlated with a network interruption. IF light is green, then no problem getting stream to provider/CDN

Are you using YT's recommended stream settings?

Anything within OBVS specific to YouTube, someone else would have to comment on
I'd recommend you follow the pinned forum post on uploading a recording/streaming session OBS log to this thread for others to review
