Question / Help Youtube live stream only has 240p option...

We're using the 32 bit version because it's been much more stable for our scenario (streaming a folder of 500+ mp4's).

All of the videos are 480 x 360 and, for our purpose, we and our viewers are fine with the lower res. However, how can we ensure that our viewers on Youtube at least see the 360p option in the video settings? We raised the bitrate to 1000 but that didn't work. Does it need to go higher? Does OBS need to restart (hoping we don't have to stop the stream because it streams without interruption for months at a time but will if necessary).

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

YouTube is not going to upscale your videos. If you stream or upload 360p, that's all viewers will see. Merely raising the bitrate will not increase the frame size. If you want larger videos to be available, you need to set the maximum size you want in Settings > Video as your output resolution. You can only make this change when not recording or streaming.
