Youtube Automatic LiveStream Daily

Hi,

I want to setup a youtube livestream daily so it runs automatically at a certain time. I am able to create scripts using this method and OBS starts fine and stops like I want to. However when the stream starts every day, it won't go live to YouTube unless I open a browser to the live streaming page. I am using the Youtube stream key setting in OBS, which skips the prompt to setup the broadcast. But the stream won't go live unless I open the browser before starting it.

Any suggestions as a workaround for this?

Hello KentSudTech: I live stream church events, mainly services, and we are using Restream to send the stream to YouTube. Ordinarily, these events would be scheduled in YouTube i.e. I would create a separate entry for each event. However for an unscheduled with no defined entry, Restream creates an event.

Anyway, for both these situations, Restream is setting the YouTube Auto-start to Enabled, so that as soon as a stream is received, it is broadcast. I don't know if this is your issue, but if you are going directly to YouTube, maybe there is a way to make the Auto-start parameter enabled as a Default account/channel setting.

Thanks I will give that a try, I was thinking that maybe Restream would a solution to my issue.
