Make sure your windows updates are actually up to date as well.

I'm having the same problem as FI0ti when attempting to install version 21.1. I don't have the problem with the previous version of OBS Studio, which installs without a hitch. Having said that, before installing 21.0.1, exactly the same error message appeared. So those two files had to be located online, then installed before 21.0.1 could itself be installed. Now, 21.1 is doing exactly the same same as 21.0.1, except the two files it is asking for have already been installed - that's a no-win situation. How far back does one have to go, with regard to Windows updates, for 21.1 to install? I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium. Or, what is it about 21.1 that 21.0.1 doesn't have?

You should be keeping yourself fully up to date. Unless you like exposing your computer to the bad guys.
