Question / Help Yosemite's multiple desktops feature, can you take advantage of that?

Has anyone figured out a way to capture something from a second 'virtual' desktop on Yosemite? I'd like OBS to run on the first desktop and WoW on the other so presentation is a little cleaner. I do not have a second monitor. Is there a way for OBS to recognize that second desktop as a separate display source, so whenever I slide back to the originally desktop, OBS won't switch the capture?

Just use Syphon source. Inject WoW with SyphonInject, add a Syphon source on OBS, select [SyphonInjected] World of Warcraft (whatever it might be called), and there you go! you can now put OBS in on desktop and play Wow fullscreen on another.
