Yeti Nano Microphone has deep & static sound

Forgive me if there is somewhere that explains this already, I've spent over a couple hours looking and trying different solutions but nothing has worked. I'm using a M2 Max Macbook Pro, Yeti Nano is plugged directly into it, and I first tested the sound on discord and it sounded completely normal. But when I record a screen capture and use the mic for my voice, it comes through with my voice being very deep and a mixture of static. Based on previous posts that I saw, I tried getting it to write out to ffmpeg & changing the bitrate. I also tried remuxing the recordings and opening them in vlc and they all still sound the same. I've attached the log file from one of the recordings. Thank you for any help I can get!

You shouldn't have to switch to ffmpeg to get anything working. I'd change that stuff back unless you "know" you need it. The weird sound could be caused by having the audio being doubled. If your global audio device and desktop audio device are both 'live' in the scene, they are going to both get recorded, even if you're not monitoring them in OBS. It would sound like clipping and phase-cancellation. Check how many audio-meters are active when you are recording--mute the 'Screen Capture' audio.
