Hello,
For a few months when obs is open I have a yellow outline that appears permanently except when the software is closed and this is very annoying. When we stream I would like to know how to fix this problem please

If the yellow outline is around a window/screen you are capturing, this was added by Microsoft intentionally to warn users that the window/screen is being captured by another program, to prevent malware/spyware from grabbing images of bank details, passwords, etc.

This is not something OBS can disable, by Microsoft's intention.

Ok, but why don't some people have it and others have it? And if we switch to a later version of Windows we will no longer have it?

The yellow outline is related to Display Capture or Window Capture. Microsoft introduced it in Windows 10, so it is an operating system feature. Of course you can try to avoid using it and stick to the BitBit method. But that may or may not introduce problems to the actual capturing, sometimes it is just not possible to succesfully capture what you want without the Windows 10 method. But give it a try if you want.

But our messsage is: try to learn to live with it.

Alright thanks for your help! I see that I have no choice but to get used to it, it's a shame but I have to deal with it...
