Question / Help XInput Support Removed?

I seem to recall being able to bind PTT to a key on my X360 controller, more specifically when the left or right thumbstick was pressed down.

However, this doesn't seem to work at all in the new "OBS Studio" version? Was this feature removed, if yes - why?

It wasn't re-implemented yet. It's on the roadmap.

The entire backend was re-done and xinput support for keybinds hasn't made it in yet.

Huh, thanks. I thought it'd be one of the easier things to implement, though, I haven't looked at OBS Studio's source, but I've worked with XInput before.

Hey now, I never said they were lazy or anything - I wholeheartedly understand the process of rebuilding things anew, but as I said - I haven't looked at the source so I don't know how different they are from one another.

I simply said XInput is really easy to work with and since they had already implemented it once before and seeing as how the hotkey feature as a whole is pretty in-depth, I thought support for XInput was obvious.

So don't pull the typical "then do it yourself" card on me, thank you very much :P
