Question / Help Xenyx 1204 USB XLR does not output to digital/USB

Hi. My setup is very simple. I am on one PC with an unpowered XLR mic in channel 1. USB is connected to the PC. I was told the USB should output everything via USB. It does not seem to be the case. How do I enable the mic to output to the USB? Digital signal is fine. I can hear my games, and all the things from the PC. Just not the mic. Although I can monitor all the sources. Which is kind of nice.

I am sure it is something really, really simple. That, or I was lied to, and it is a limitation of the mixer.

The Xenyx should show up in your Microphone/Input devices as USB Audio CODEC usually. You may need to make sure Windows app's can access your Microphone, which is one thing I missed a while back. Should be able to hit windows key, search microphone, and find privacy settings. Other then that it should work, unless something on the Xenyx isnt set correctly. Hope that helps.
