Question / Help X4 Foundations and Vulkan game engine, extreme stutter

Hey,
So this has never happened within the month of me recording gaming, yeah I'm new to all of this.
However, while my fps can sometimes drop down to 40 or 50 fps, I'v never had harsh stutter and gitters / frame skips or frame loss.

So while gaming in X4 Foundations, if I am near a station, in the map, in the upgrade ship mode, I get these gitters and frame skipping or loss. It makes you dizzy to look at the footage, its insane. However in game I'm fine cant notice a thing.
If I am fighting no issues, flying near other constructs that are not stations no issues.

I notice that these stutters happen if my frames from 120 to 80 as a norm, drop down to the 50's and the stutters are worse the lower the frames go.

I am on a:
Ryzen 7 2700x
2 m.2s 970 evo. One for OS and games, the other to record to and render to, which I keep mostly empty when I record so close to 400gb free most of the time.
GTX ROG 1080ti
32gig ram gskil 3200
cross hair 7 hero

The system is fully watercooled and temps of GPU run around the 35c and CPU around 50c in game.
I record at 1080p due to the monitor being 1080, at 60 fps with 15000 bitrate
X264 to use the CPU and CPU usage is still under 40%
2 keyframe interval
CPU preset very fast
Profile high

In game 1080 ultra settings and as I said the norm is 120 to 80 frames which suddenly and randomly drop near stations, however moving the map in map mode knocks frames down to 40 causing high stutter in only the recording, this does not effect audio.

As mentioned already, I'v hit the 40fps in other games and they have never done this in the recordings.
The forum at Egosot, I was told its an OBS issue, so I would like to hear from you good peeps about this :)

Same problem here. 1080p60 12mbps x264. Game plays fine but when I watch it back later the replay stuttered, especially when npc's ran by.

16:56:20.483: Output 'adv_file_output': Total frames output: 1881
16:56:20.483: Output 'adv_file_output': Total drawn frames: 2187
16:56:20.483: ==== Recording Stop ================================================
16:56:20.486: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 1738/1889 (92.0%)

Looks like its encoder lag, maybe from using Display Capture? Game Capture and Window Capture dont' work.

15:10:55.104: [game-capture: 'Game Capture'] could not open process: X4.exe

CPU is only 44-56% utilized...

I DDU downgraded to 18.9.3. Used Exclusive Fullscreen and Enhance Vsync in the Radeon settings instead of the games adaptive vsync. Set the profile to main instead of high and rebooted. No encoder lag for now...

Video stopped? so it actually stopped recording ? Mine so far has not stopped recording. Just has fits with frames. Exactly using Game capture just shows a black screen so I use Display. So far I have always used Display capture for everything.

I dont use vsync, never have. I shall check this out but I am on a nvida card :/

Hey guys i just saw this threath when i stream this X4 foundation or try to record it flying the ship in cockpit view and using left and right to move around with keyboard is fine but when i wanted to use mouse to move around all hell broke lose camera starts to shake like crazy in obs for some reason X4 foundation needs to be streamed and recording at 30 fps and then its fine and borderless window full screen its annoying cause its not 60 fps but its a fix 4now. Only X4 is doing that stuttering when u move the ship around with mouse. Even Egosoft said that the obs does not like X4 hope u guys will fix that.

This problem is on NVIDIA vulkan engine aka BUG! they are working to fix it acording to steam and redit forum or you can turn off vync in nvidia control panel since you cannot turn it off in the game itself since 1.50 update, so obs cant do anything about that hope that helps
I was searching for the answers myself too cause its impossible to stream or record for me before update i was able to stream it fine with vysnc turn off and 30 fps borderless screen now i cant anymore because vsycnc turn off said its not supported on this hardware xd

This problem is still not fixed because the game is supporting vulkan stuff no idea what that is but soon when you move the mouse or zooming map camera on obs recording is starting to shake like crazy i hope this will get sorted :) Really want to stream this game but i cannot because of this bug ;) The only fix is this 30 fps and windowed full screen its kinda bad but its working hope thats works for you guys :) after digging whole net and redit for this informations :)
