Hello again!

I want to know, what is the difference between fastdecode & zerolatency in the x264 tune settings?I read an article which states that:
  • fastdecode is for decoding video faster(whatever that means).Reduces CPU but video stutters a bit when moving slider in Quicktime or in iMovie.
  • zerolatency is for fast encoding/low latency streaming. No stutter in video but CPU raises by 1/2%~
I'm following this guide.Note that I set the CRF to 17.Can you guys recommend the tune best for this guide?

zerolatency makes some sacrifices in the encoding to push the encoded video out as fast as it can. It's generally not recommended unless you're trying to get the absolutely most minimal latency possible, and even then it won't gain you that much (maybe a few hundred ms).

fastdecode is more important for whatever wants to play back the video (decoding is necessary for playback). You really don't need it.

In other words, use neither. Leave it at None.
