Question / Help x264 encoding with my i7-6700k dedicated stream pc (dual stream setup) should i sell my 1050TI 4GB G

Does OBS use the 1050TI 4GB GPU in my streaming pc when im encoding with x264? Or is it just sitting there? in that case i rather sell it.

I got a dual stream setup. Streaming pc has a Elgato HD PRO capture card, a i7-6700k processor with 16 GB RAM and 1050TI 4GB GPU.

I recommend keeping the 1050ti.

No, the 1050ti is not doing the actual encoding, but it is doing any scaling and image compositing. A decent GPU is needed.
