Hi all,
Since a few weeks we have many lags in the stream. Opening support tickets to YN end in "please delete your cookies" (LoL).
OBS displays around 30% Packet loss and the logs show NACK returns from YN.
To have a second example we switched the stream to twitch, where it runs perfect and w/o any issues, even if we increase the bit rate.
We are using a Linux Mint 19.3 and OBS 27 (current version).
Current Kernel is 5.4.0-87
While trying to dig into the issue I installed the Low-Latency Kernel 4.15.0-159.
This brought us from 30% down to about 12%.
Comparing to users using Windows they do not have any issues, which brings me back to the FTL origin.
Younow uses some sort of websocket to stream. If I understand the source code from OBS correct, it uses the microsoft FTL Protocol inside this websocket stream.
Is there any chance to find some tuning in OBS to make FTL faster and more stable? I read some things about B Frames and LowLatency and so on.
Has anyone some deeper expirience with this -I am at the edge of my know-how.
