Question / Help Woops, OBS has caused my hair to fall out

So, I've been using OBS for a few months to stream to twitch so my kid could watch. Lost interest for a little while, but needed a screen recording today, so updated and got the dreaded "Woops, OBS has crashed!"

Things I have tried:
All win updates
DDU to get everything clean
Reinstall program <--- (have a screen rec if it's helpful, but not from OBS, obvs :)
Redownload and install Radeon stuff (tried current version 19.9.2 and beta 19.12.1)
Compatibility mode with 7 and 8
Administrator enabled
Game mode off

I'm out of ideas - can anybody help?

If you don't need the AMD encoder, you can remove the enc-amf.dll plugin.
