wont pick up xbox mic audio

i have the elgato hd60x with the chat link but no matter what i do i cant get it to pick up my audio but its picks up everyone elses and the game audio im using a xbox series x as well

also im using the SteelSeries 7plus which i think maybe the problem but im not sure
