Title should be : Wired connection slower than WIRELESS connection. Sorry, can't figure out how to edit title!
I've been streaming wireless for a year now with relative stability. But everytime I mentioned that I stream wireless my viewers have facepalmed and made fun of me and stuff.
So a few days ago I bought an ethernet cable and wired myself into the router. But ever since then, my stream stability has been TERRIBlE! I consistently spike between ~1000kbps and ~3000kbpslose connection.
My ethernet connection is the one that came with my motherboard. It's a Intel i218V ethernet/LAN adapter, my wireless is a Netgear a6200 Wifi Adapter.
Hardwired I got 1.6 mbps upload, wireless I got a 2.4 mbps upload.
Any suggestions on why wired doesn't boost my numbers? Or at least stay consistent and not so wildly variable?
(Yes I do have latest drivers for both)
