Since the hardware is the determining factor, it doesn't matter on what operating system OBS Studio is running on. The authors of OBS take greatest efforts to keep the feature set of OBS equal between all operating systems, so it's probably best if you use the operating system you're doing your standard work on, and where you are most familiar with.
