Windows sound cuts out when I try to use microphone in OBS (Audient Evo 4)

Hey guys, I wonder if you could help me, please.

I can't seem to get OBS to record my mic and play audio at the same time anymore.

Up until recently, I had it all working fine, I could record desktop audio, my mic, and the loopback feature from my interface all in separate channels no problems. Now though, OBS only seems to recognize one thing at once. If the mic channel is working properly, the sound cuts out. If the sound is playing, the mic VU doesn't light up.

When the mic does work and the sound cuts out, the sound for the whole of Windows cuts out.

The sound is then cut out until I open my DAW - Ableton. When I do that the windows sound "resets" and I can hear everything again.

I can get all the channels working properly in Ableton, so I can play sound normally and also get a mic input into the DAW normally too, so I think it must be something to do with OBS.

I've tried reinstalling OBS, making sure the sample rates are the same in OBS and in my system, made sure exclusive mode is disabled, I've also tested different input and outputs (it seems to work fine when I am using my headset, but not my Audient Evo 4)

Anyway, that's all I can tell you right now I guess, here's my latest log: https://obsproject.com/logs/QtlE8MrX353OB3aG

Appreciate any help, thanks

Hmm, a quick update if anyone else has this issue.

I've got OBS to detect the microphone and desktop audio again. I reinstalled the Audient Drivers... Curiously the only reason this worked is that it set the windows default sample rate of the microphone to 24 bit 96k... OBS seems to want to recognize that for some reason, even though it's actually set to 48k within OBS itself.

Everything still isn't 100% fixed though, as the rest of my system is set to work at 48k some apps (Voice Mod for example) won't even work if the sample rate is set so high.

Weird stuff
