Windows Capture (Xcomposite) black screen

I can use ScreenCapture just fine to share my monitor but when I try to capture a window, i.e., browser window, only a black screen is displayed. I can find and select the browers, however, it is not displayed. Any help here would be hot.

OS: Linux Zorin 16
MOBO: MSI M-Power Big Bang
GPU: GeForce GTX 980 ti
P: intel 3770k 3.5gz
RAM: 16gb DDR3

Same exact problem, except I run into it with Windows games running under Proton. Valheim (native Linux) was captured without issue.
