Hello everyone!
I have recently had a weird issue in OBS. I don't know what caused it as when it appeared about three weeks ago I did not really change anything on my laptop. Anyway, the problem is that when I click out of a window that I'm capturing, the window just freezes and provides no updates. When I come back to it, it starts updating again. I was fine with this for some time because I could just focus on one window and it would keep updating for my viewers, but now I need to have two windows running. To keep the second window running, I have to press on it every minute basically so that it can update. Again, when I go to a different window, it stops updating. For example, if I have a game running in one window capture and a clock running in another window capture, for my viewers to see that the clock is moving, I'd have to press on the window with the clock. If I don't, the clock will just show as being frozen.
Check out this video: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/792769074?t=0h1m9s
When I press on the clock, it updates (it's in another window capture). If I don't, it doesn't! Notice that when I pressed on the clock, the board stopped updating (it's in another window capture).
What could be causing this? I reinstalled OBS, have hardware acceleration disabled, and disabled (and later re-enabled) Aero Peek as well.
Thank you for your help!
