Windows Capture crashing OBS v26.0.2

I'm on OBS version 26.0.2 and I don't want to update OBS because I don't want to redo EVERYTHING I've put onto my OBS. Recently, I tried putting a windows capture on for people to see my inputs, but every time I pressed "ok," it brought me to a properties screen that is completely blank and ~5 seconds later, OBS crashes. Do you have any fixes for this?


EDIT: I am editing this to put my crash reports to help me. All nine were from the same day.

Have you made sure Windows is up to date? Drivers up to date? You might need to update OBS to fix any crash issues. But I would start with basics making sure OS and Drivers up to date

I get not wanting to redo things, so staying on a release before v28 (avoiding Qt6 plugin upgrade issue) ... but unless an unmaintained or known incompatible plugin, have you thought of updating to v26.1.1 (2) ? https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases/tag/26.1.2
or better yet latest v27 https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases/tag/27.2.4 ?
