Windows 11 does not work properly with OBS

Hello,

since I switched to Windows 11, my OBS freezes, when I tab out of a game. I can't even close it, I have to use the task manager.

Does someone have the same issue? And how to fix it?

Don't use win11, simple stay on win10 until win 11 is mature enough (usable for production), or win12 is released.
There's a multitude of issues you may have, from unstable parts of the OS itself, drivers not really ready for the OS, hardware conflicts with the OS, softwar conflicts with updates on the OS, or a long etc.-

For many people it works just fine. For other, like you, don't.

Windows 11 is essentially Vista 2 at this point.

It's half-finished, buggy as hell, and definitely NOT ready for primetime release. They're working on it still (and to be fair, Vista WAS good toward the end of its lifespan) but for the time being, it's just not good. No production system should be using it.

I'm using Windows 11 without any issues.

If you upgraded from Windows 10 via a system update, I would recommend you backup your files and do a clean install of Windows 11 instead.
