Windows 10 Window Capture Does not function no matter what application is captured.

Game capture works.
Desktop capture works.
OBS Studio is set to run in Admin Mode on Windows 10.

No matter what window capture is tried, what is seen is a black screen with a red dot with a line down to a red square where the window resizing handles should be. If the red square is moved both the red dot (possibly top center anchor) and red dot disappear.
Attempts were made previously to transform and set a different window size. With that a window size can be increased but it is all black inside. It seems like it is set to 0-pixles.

I tried updating the app and also reinstalling it. I do not have it on the default path for installation as I wanted the program on a different drive.

Thank you for any type of response on this issue.

According to your log, you're trying to capture some window of the Steam client. I tried capturing the Stream friends list and the library view. Both work for me, and every other app as well, for example Windows explorer or Google Chrome. I'm running Windows 11, however if that would be a Windows 10 specific general issue, the forum would overflow with it. What app specifically did you try and fail? You have a rather old Windows 10 running, did you try updating to 23H2?

Yes I just selected steam because it was open. I was trying a webpage previously and i tried the calculator app and a few other things. No window captures work. I did not try updating to 23H2. I can try that. It does seem strange. As stated I have tried viewing various applications in windowed mode and none of them display. It is any and all window captures that fail. Maybe I updating windows version will help. I want to stay with 10 for now so I'll try 23H2.

Thank you.
