Hey Guys,

Im upgrading to Windows 10 and using the latest build of OBS Studi 0.14.2.
If i play league of legends normal i got 130fps but if i run OBS-Studio my FPS sinks to 80 and if i start recording to 50-58fps.

Im using latest Nvidia Drivers 365.19 and record with NVENC on 20k bitrate.

What is the problem with this high fps drops on windows 8.1 it was smooth but now.

Is it normal for OBS ? When does the fix come?

id really like to see solution for this if there is one now, as I ran into same issue with nvenc where it was causing fps drops and stuttering in games. it strongly depends on game. BF4 can be captured very well with obs nvenc. Current implementation in obs seems to be missing NVFBC and NVIFR capture methods, your only option for now may be shadowplay or "x264 low cpu" in simple output mode

Okay i do a recording log:
https://gist.github.com/067a83fa61260b426b4d33c0897fd680

But i hate it Win 8.1 no FPS drops in WIn 10 i got them.
Its like this in Minecraft without OBS running 100 Fps running obs goes to 80-90fps when recording to 70fps but it stutters its not smooth. In the logfile i cannot see any problems. Only OBS causes this problems bandicam and shadowplay works fine. (tested today 11.53 pm.) What can causes this fpsdrops?

What does it mean?

Is it a problem causes by myself or by obs, cuz shadowplay works fine but i want features like obs studio cuz the mask webcam is my new favorite and multi-audio record.

hmm try 640x480 resolution on your camera and changing format to MJPEG if you can
yeah its okay... but i decide to record without facecam till OBS gets updated to fix this issue. I have to change to shadowplay instead. Or maybe i should rollback to windows 8.1..
