Windows 10 and xb360 kinect

Hello all. I am running Windows 10 and have a webcam that I am using. I am wanting to use my 360 kinect as a secondary cam. I installed the sdk for it, drivers, and plugins etc. Windows shows the device and I get a blinking green LED on the cam. OBS Studio is not showing the kinect. I am using the 64bit edition of the program. I also tried using the 32bit version and it was still not showing up. I've googled and went through all results I could find to troubleshoot and have not come up with a solution as of yet. Any additional help is much appreciated.

Does it show up in any other program that uses a webcam (Discord, Skype, etc)?
If not, this isn't something OBS can cause or fix, and is out-of-scope for these support forums. Getting a Kinect to work/show up as a webcam can be finicky at the best of times.

Thank you for reminding me t o check with other apps as well. I can confirm that it is not just an OBS issue. So it seems that I am not going to be able to use it as a webcam. Oh well. I guess we all can't be lucky.

Sorry to hear that. Might just mean a bit more troubleshooting on the Kinect side. As mentioned, they can be finicky.
That said, unless you're using the depth-mapping functionality (I'm not sure if OBS can, for RealSense background removal) it might be worth just jumping on a Logitech c920. They're not too expensive and will give significantly better quality than a Kinect.
In any case, have a good one!
