I am also having trouble capturing league of legends. I'm running it in borderless window mode, but whenever I attempt to capture I get a black screen (although I can still see the cursor moving). I was also having trouble capturing chrome, but I found out that disabling hardware acceleration fixed the issue. I was curious if the problem with league was caused by a similar issue. I'm not sure if it uses any sort of hardware acceleration though.
Yes, I mean that disabling hardware acceleration in the google chrome settings made it so I was able to capture the chrome window. As for league bugging out, I'm not sure. I was just getting a black screen.Do you mean google chrome hardware acceleration or other? Before I format the pc, obs studio was normal in this question, but now it is all bugged when I put to capture the lol screen in capture window mode. It gets those multiple copies of the screen in the OBS knows, as if it were the monitor capture
I deactivated, but nothing changedYes, I mean that disabling hardware acceleration in the google chrome settings made it so I was able to capture the chrome window. As for league bugging out, I'm not sure. I was just getting a black screen.
So does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue or a workaround? Or am I just going to have to resort to capturing the entire monitor? I'd really prefer not to have to do that.
What do you mean by full or reduced windows?I'm a newbee, so.... I had the same problem with my first game capture. When I got the black screen I started checking and saw that while I was capturing the game I sometimes switched between full and reduced windows. When I set OBS to game capture, or window capture and matched that with the pc I was ok.
