Question / Help Window Capture (Skype) not working

I'm not entirely sure if I'm running into a hardware or software configuration issue, but I've been tinkering with this on and off for a couple weeks and am no closer to a resolution. I'm attempting to use the window capture function on OBS Studio to record and broadcast a Skype call to YouTube. However, when I have Skype running, selected under the Window capture function, it will display my mouse cursor on a black background in the preview, but nothing else. I can't seem to get it to capture the actual video feed. I'm using OBS on a system with SLI 1070's, with Nvidia Surround enabled. I thought that might be the issue at first, but my monitor capture is functioning properly? I'm quite at a loss with this one, and any help is greatly appreciated.

I downloaded and am using the desktop version of Skype and OBS is picking it up just fine. Thank you, I was unaware that there was a different version available from a second location. However, can I pick your brain for one more thing? After launching OBS to test the new Skype, I found that I was incorrect; monitor capture is NOT working.
