Window Capture OBS Itself

Been wondering how to window capture the OBS window itself, is there a workaround that doesn't involve display capture?

I would like to know this as well. I have tried game capture, window capture and all the sub options but OBS never shows up in any of the options. The only thing that works is display capture but that is not an acceptable solution to what we are trying to do. Please help

If you start a second instance of OBS Studio, it looks like that other instance will show up as an option in window capture. Not sure if that helps with your use case, though.

yes that worked. Opened the second as a portable. But, its hardly ideal and caused some crashing. project abandoned unless someone knows another way.
